WELCOME TO THE MEMBERSHIP PAGE

Lake Panorama is a community association made up of its 1700 members-property owners in the development. The Association is governed by a 7-member board of directors elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting held the last Saturday in April every year.

The Board employs a general manager who administers the various departments of the Association including: administration, maintenance, security, water, erosion control, and dam operations. Those departments, including the members of the board of directors are found on the departments page.

The lake, common properties, roads, beaches, and facilities of the Lake are owned by the Association (LPA). Developed and undeveloped lots are privately owned by the members and are subject to the Covenants and Restrictions that go along with each lot; the By-Laws of the Association, which allow for the governance, rule-making and financial support of the LPA; and the Rules and Regulations, which are adopted by the Board of Directors. Part of the Rules and Regulations are the Building Codes, which regulate what may be built at the lake. Members are responsible to follow the regulatory documents in the way that they use their property and for their behavior at the lake.

The links for Rules and Regulations and Building Codes are summaries only and are intended to give the general scope of the rules for these areas. For detailed rules and regulations and building code information, please contact the office at (641) 755 2301 or e-mail to lpa@lakepanorama.org or download the full documents as indicated on the rules and codes pages.

The Lake Panorama Rural Improvement Zone is a separate entity from the Association, but works with the Association to improve the quality of the lake through dredging and erosion control measures.

Membership information is made available on this website and through annual mailings to the membership. Some additional information is available to members through the Lake Panorama Times, a local newspaper publication, although it IS NOT an official publication of the Association. Editorial content of the Times is not endorsed by the Association although LPA members and staff make story contributions.

Links on this web page are not endorsed by the Association, but may be of interest to members' usage of the lake and its environs.
