Staff Changes
Roger Dunlop, former special projects assistant, will be the purchasing and accounts payable staffer at the LPA office. Randy Holl, formerly operations assistant manager, will assume the special project duties as well as LPA communications responsibilities such as the web site, newsletter and will assist Eric Weinkoetz with research and other duties. Kelley Kirtley, road manager, will become maintenance supervisor. The changes are effective January 1.
Drive Carefully
The nature of LPA streets is that they are not shaped in a way that facilitates thorough snow removal. The high centered streets are not flat like most highways, and snowplows can not clean them completely. Over 300 tons of sand and salt have been used thus far (12/13) on LPA roads during the winter season. Residents are cautioned simply to obey speed limits, take curves and yield signs seriously and drive with caution at all times. If you have road questions, please call the office or security.
