48 Hour Bulding Permit Requirement
All new construction building permits for homes, detached garages, and re-modeling that changes the house footprint will require at least a 48 hour (2 working day) notice before the permit will be issued. Staff must have time to evaluate the proposals, check the lot lines and staking, and determine whether all other requirements are meant. The change is effective on January 1, 2007.
